Gareth Fraser and Kyle Martin (University of Sheffield) will be presenting interesting new research on shark dentitions at the European Elasmobranch Association meeting, this year being held at Bristol Aquarium!
Brett and I gave a presentation on new research on the vertebrate backbone and potential for sharks to become new model animals to study human diseases.
Brett presented a poster on applications of x-ray tomography to shark dentitions, and Zerina gave a talk on the evolutionary relationship between teeth and skin denticles.
The team has a new paper, part of a soon-to-be published volume honoring the life and achievements of Arthur Smith Woodward
