Festschrift in honour of Moya Meredith Smith

Thursday, June 18, 2015 -
10:00 to 18:00

Moya Meredith Smith’s career has spanned over five decades, focusing on the evolution of dentitions and vertebrate hard tissues, in both living and fossil animals. Her research incorporates both developmental biology and palaeontology, and during her long career she has produced seminal works in both fields.

Eleven top researchers, including colleagues old and new, will give cutting-edge presentations on various topics in vertebrate evolution, many still controversial. This one-day meeting honours a researcher who has had a major and ongoing influence in the field of vertebrate evolution, and whose work has impacted on the research of many developmental biologists and palaeontologists, both in the UK and internationally.

You are cordially invited to attend this free event at the Gordon Museum, King's College London. Please see our website: http://toothevodevo.weebly.com/
