Monique Welten will be presenting the talk "Teeth inside and outside the mouth: topographic relationships in sawshark and sawfish dentitions (Elasmobranchii; Chondrichthyes)" and the group will present a poster titled "Development and evolution of dentition pattern for spatial order of tooth replacement in the Batoidea (Chondrichthyes)".
We will also meet with Dr Brian Metscher, University of Vienna (http://homepage.univie.ac.at/brian.metscher/) to discuss staining of shark embryos to better observe tooth germ development while CT-scanning.
